It's kind of ridiculous how we keep seem to be saying things like "Brett Favre's return to the NFL" or "Favre out of retirement" when the guy really never left.
So in his next attempt at invoking some form of revenge against his former team the Green Bay Packers, Favre looks to be ready to sign with one of the Packers rivals in the Minnesota Vikings.
Good move for Favre? Maybe, considering he will have the best running back in the game coming out of the backfield to take the pressure off, but this could also blow up in his face with an injury.
Last season, I thought Favre to the Vikings was pretty ridiculous, but this time around it seems like it could work. The receiving core definitely needs some work, much like the New York Jets last season, but they did pick a good rookie wideout in Percy Harvin who could instantly turn into a star.
Favre signing with the Vikings is still up in the air, but I would pretty much say it is a done deal.
