Making NFL betting picks is what we do best here at BetPilot.com and as NFL betting season rolls on we start evaluating our NFL picks and see what is working. The middle of the season is the easiest time to bet because you have a good idea of what each team looks like and you don’t yet have to factor in some of the fatigue and injuries that you need to think about towards the end of the season. These things are really important as the year winds down.
So what are your NFL betting picks looking like this NFL season ? Are you following our daily NFL blog? It appears as if the underdogs have really been getting out and barking. As you all know if you have been following the blog we are big on playing the dog. They are really on top of their game, so to speak. This is something that might continue through the season, but chances are that it won’t. You need to account for this when making your NFL picks. The favorites are bound to turn it around sometime, but won't see us playing a bunch NFL favorites as we know the average NFL game is decided by 3.5 points or less.

Last week I went with the Jets and won, this week should be no different. When Brett is at the helm, there is always a good reason to go with the Jets. Take Boise St -25
Boise is undefeated and that is because they are good and disciplined on both sides of the ball. Hawaii will struggle with this game. I look for Boise to pull away big late in the 3rd and 4th Qtrs. Hawaii cannot keep up with the caliber of team as Boise is.

No. Illinois vs Miami (Ohio) This is the first time I have posted on a site, but like and bet on sports alot. Seems I run in streaks. Miami Ohio is not very good. Northern Illinois is at the top of their game right now. Looking very competive even in the games they lost. They should be in charge of this game. My pick is No. Illinois -10
I like this game alot. Houston -18 vs Ala/Birm Ala/Birm has only won 1 game this year so far. Houston has won only two, but have been close in all the games. Ala/Birm will lose again this week. They are not a very strong team and in the past weeks have had alot of turnovers. Look for Houston to take this one and score as the game goes into the 3rd and 4th qtrs. Jump on this one. Houston -18
